Durango’s Powerhouse Science Museum
For our adventure this week we took the kids to Durango’s Powerhouse Science Museum! This place looked fun and they have a great Groupon to get in. Being in a smaller town, I was assuming it would entertain the kids for an hour or so. I was WAY wrong. The kids AND I stayed for 3 hours and all could have stayed 2 more! There was so much to do and every station was multi-layered so it allowed for all ages (even adults) to really get into the activities.
The museum is located right by the river in a really unique and old build building. Parking is limited but there are plenty of places to park and walk to get there. One in, there are so many sciencey and fun things to choose from. The boys really enjoyed the building stations. Reese and I got hung up in the problem-solving area. Next time we are in town we will definitely visit again!
