The A-Team Is Moving To Colorado

The time has come for the A-Team to move to Colorado.

The Anderson 5 chose to move to Fort Worth in late 2020 after Meg & Ben died to help make the transition easier for the Arbour kids. We feel so thankful we had the freedom with our business to do such a thing.

It’s been a crazy couple of years, and this stop in Fort Worth to heal and bond together as a family has been one of the largest unplanned blessings of our lives. In addition to Meg & Ben’s supportive friends, we found a fairy-tale-like neighborhood that has provided community, safety, and love for our family. We have made life-long friendships here. We have been served and loved by more people than I can count.

However, our business and hearts are still in Colorado, so the time is now for the move back that we always suspected would come. Besides a need to be closer to our Denver-based business of 15+ years, Andrew and I are finally taking the leap to live out our dream of raising our kids in a small mountain town. This dream has been festering for years. While this move is bittersweet, it aligns with our vision, which is a fantastic feeling!

As always, the kids are resilient and accepting of the change. I know I take for granted how 6/6 kids can handle yet another massive life change like this. They all, of course, find big sadness in leaving the people they love here, but the adventure of a new place, new lifestyle, and yet more new friends thrills them all to some degree. I am really proud and thankful for their good attitude about this.

Andrew and I are giddy. Colorado has been our chosen home since 2007; adventure is our addiction. So to return to the state we love with the ease of outdoor adventure and laid-back lifestyle feels like a breath of fresh air after the hardest couple of years we’ve ever lived through.

A Quick Note Of Thanks

You can tell from my gushing about the people we’ve met here that our past couple of years would have been harder, more painful, and not nearly as fun without our precious Fort Worth relationships. You know who you are. You have shown up at our door with food, you’ve mentored us or our littles, you’ve listened without judgment, cried with us, celebrated our wins, loved on our kiddos, invited us to your fun parties, you’ve made us laugh, sent your kids to play at our house, let ours invade your homes, played tennis with me, signed our kids up for activities, driven our kids around, taken them to church, spent hours on our front porch, you’ve prayed, you’ve left clothes and toys on our doorstep, etc, etc, etc, etc.

YOU are a large reason why we have survived and even thrived since our lives were turned upside down in 2020. Thank you. We can’t wait for you to visit us in the mountain, as our friendship is just getting started.
